Commercial Fit-Outs

Venues delivered
to opening night.

Bars, hospitality and commercial fit-outs across the North West — including Kennedy’s Irish Bar, Shredfast’s Manchester city-centre gym and the Salford Rum Company’s bar and events space.

Commercial fit-outs with a hospitality track record

Commercial work is a different discipline: fixed opening dates, licensing conditions, fire regulations, and finishes that take a battering from opening night. We’ve delivered it at scale — and it shows in everything else we build.

Kennedy’s Irish Bar — Manchester

A full transformation of a landmark Victorian corner building into a traditional Irish bar: restored brick arched entrance, complete external redecoration, and a full internal fit-out — panelled snugs, buttoned leather banquette seating, bespoke joinery and feature lighting throughout. Delivered to an immovable opening date.

Salford Rum Company — Salford

The fit-out of the Salford Rum Company’s customer-facing spaces under a railway arch: a mezzanine bar with backlit display shelving, bespoke bar joinery, events seating and the production-area works to support it — all within the constraints of a live, operating premises.

Shredfast — Manchester Central

A full fit-out for Shredfast’s Manchester city-centre site, set inside a railway arch and built around four zones: gym, hot room, recovery and wellbeing. The arch frontage was reworked with a black panelled façade, full-height branded graphics and illuminated signage that gives the club real presence at street level.

Inside, the brief was a premium, high-energy environment that still feels calm where it needs to. That meant a sculpted reception with a curved marble-effect counter on a bronze plinth set against a backlit logo wall and herringbone flooring, and training studios finished in deep matt tones with integrated LED light lines, illuminated brand panels and dedicated kettlebell storage. All delivered to a programme that got the doors open on time.

What we bring to commercial clients

  • Programme certainty — trading dates are non-negotiable, so the programme is built backwards from opening day.
  • Live-environment experience — phased works around operating businesses, out-of-hours where needed.
  • Regulatory fluency — building control, fire safety and accessibility handled as part of the job, not bolted on.
  • Finishes that survive — hospitality-grade materials and fixing methods, because a bar gets ten years of wear in one.

Planning a venue? Send Declan the space and the opening date. You’ll get an honest answer on whether it’s achievable — and a programme that proves it.

Common questions

What types of commercial projects do you take on?

Bars, gyms, restaurants, hospitality venues and commercial premises across Greater Manchester and the North West — from full building transformations like Kennedy's Irish Bar to phased fit-outs within operating businesses.

Can you work around a trading business?

Yes. We regularly phase works and schedule out-of-hours shifts so businesses can keep trading. Our Salford Rum Company project was delivered inside a live production facility.

Do you handle building control and fire regulations?

Yes. Compliance is planned into the programme from day one — building control, fire safety, accessibility and licensing-related works are managed as part of the contract.

How do you guarantee an opening date?

The programme is built backwards from your opening date with float built into the critical path, long-lead items ordered at contract signing, and weekly progress reporting so nothing drifts silently.
